The Kislak Collection

Housed in the Kislak Center at the Freedom Tower, the Jay I. Kislak Collection of the Early Americas, Exploration and Navigation comprises over 200 objects. Made possible with a generous donation by the Jay I. Kislak Foundation, the collection includes some of the most significant original source materials related to the history of the early Americas. Pre-Columbian artifacts from indigenous cultures including the Nasca, Chimú, Maya, Olmec, Lacandon and more can be found in the Kislak Collection. Also included are manuscripts, rare books, and lithographs relating to the period after the arrival in the Americas of Europeans.

Here, you may find some special highlights to the Collection. To see more, make sure to visit the Kislak Center inside the Freedom Tower.
