Join Miami Dade College for a celebration of architecture, arts, and culture during Open House Miami!

For more than six decades, Miami Dade College has stood as a cultural beacon in Miami. On Friday, February 28, the Miami Film Festival, Museum of Art and Design (MOAD), Miami Book Fair, Koubek Center, and Live Arts Miami will showcase their dynamic programs during Open House Miami, a citywide event which captures the community, design, and experiences that define Miami.

Guests are invited to enjoy an immersive evening with a Spring Equinox theme, highlighting architecture, art, music, film, dance, and literature. Since its inception in 1959, MDC has been a cornerstone of culture and education in South Florida. The Spring Equinox event during Open House Miami exemplifies this legacy, offering an opportunity for the community to explore and engage with the unique programs offered by each of MDC’s cultural institutions.

The evening offers the perfect opportunity to savor it all, as we showcase an evening celebrating architecture while embodying the multicultural essence and diverse offerings for which we are renowned.

This event is free and open to the public. Please register in advance to reserve a spot.

Highlights include: The evening will also feature complimentary refreshments courtesy of The Tank Brewery, Casalú, Topo Chico, and Smartwater.

Complimentary valet parking available on a first come, first serve basis.

Free self-parking is available at MDC’s Padrón Campus flat parking lot located at 2501 SW 6TH Street, Miami, FL 33135.

Miami Dade College may document the event, including its attendees. By entering the area, and/or participating in the event, you consent to the recording and its use in any form.

MOAD’s programs are made possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners. They are sponsored in part by the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts, and with generous support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The Miami Herald is a media sponsor of MOAD’s programming.
